About Me
Emerging Builders is an organization focused on empowering women, Black, Indigenous, and people of color to succeed in the construction trades, while addressing the skilled labor shortage in Kansas City. The program provides training, mentorship, and employment opportunities through an apprenticeship model, allowing participants to gain hands-on experience and leadership skills.
With small cohorts of six participants, Builders receive personalized support as they work at competitive rates while building essential workforce skills. The organization’s vision is to unlock the untapped potential of its participants, fostering a supportive culture that encourages success and professional growth. Emerging Builders aims to create a more inclusive and skilled workforce for Kansas City’s future.
