About Me
Community Housing of Wyandotte County (CHWC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating thriving, inclusive communities through high-quality housing development, homeownership support, and community engagement programs. Since 2002, CHWC has built or renovated over 500 homes, educated thousands of families, and invested over $90 million in Kansas City, Kansas neighborhoods. By combining arts, urban agriculture, and innovative programs like lease-purchase and construction training, CHWC empowers residents to build lasting assets and vibrant neighborhoods.
