About Me
KCCLT is a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on creating permanently affordable housing and advocating for policies that promote housing equity and inclusion. By acquiring land and removing it from the speculative real estate market, KCCLT holds the land “in trust” to ensure it remains affordable for income-qualified homebuyers. The organization supports sustainable, community-driven development, offering affordable ownership opportunities and stabilizing neighborhoods in Kansas City. With over 300 Community Land Trusts nationwide, KCCLT is part of a broader movement aimed at increasing housing access and addressing inequities in the housing market.
