Eden Village of Kansas City, Kansas is a master planned gated community of 23 homes and supportive atmosphere for the chronically homeless. Residents are required to maintain sobriety, a steady income and abide by community standards to maintain residency.
The Village is supported by a community center and local volunteer specialists, who give their time helping residents have a dignified place to call home, and live safely off the streets. We hope to build many communities to get homeless persons off the streets and into a home where they can thrive.
Eden Village KCK is currently taking applications. Residents must be able to pay $350–$375 per month in rent to pay for their utilities, laundry, activities and resources provided. Income can come from various resources, such as employment, sponsorship, disability check, etc.
