Eden Village KC II is the second master-planned tiny home community from Eden Village of Kansas City — expanding on the proven success of the original Eden Village at 1001 Metropolitan Ave. The new village will feature 30 tiny homes centered around a larger Resource Center than the first site, designed as a true gated community offering hope, dignity, and security for Kansas City's chronically homeless population.
Located at 59th and State Avenue in KCK, the community will be entirely privately funded — just like its predecessor. On-site services will include healthcare, mental health support, and community activities. Residents will be required to maintain sobriety and a steady income, with support from local volunteers and specialists who help residents rebuild their lives off the streets.
The land has been officially purchased. With a long waiting list and the original village at 100% occupancy — turning people away every day — there is clear and urgent demand. Groundbreaking is targeted for April 2026, with the goal of welcoming residents before year's end. The lessons learned from the first site will be applied to make this community even better.
Eden Village of Kansas City has launched a capital campaign to fund construction of the new village.
The Way Home connects builders, lenders, and funders to deliver affordable homes at the speed Kansas City needs.
