Community Housing of Wyandotte County is working to build 24 affordable units on an empty lot in Rosedale to address a big shortage in mixed income / workforce housing.
Mission 43 would have a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments ranging from about $670 to $970 in rent.
This project is currently paused due to some neighborhood pushback. The site has sat vacant for 30+ years.
