The Way Home's staff and board bring more than 50 years of combined affordable housing experience — and a shared belief that Kansas City can solve this problem in our lifetime.
The Way Home is a nonprofit housing corporation focused on accelerating affordable housing solutions through communication, coordination, and capital. A separate 501(c)(3), The Way Home was born out of Community LINC — a nearly 40-year-old Kansas City nonprofit with a rich history of ending homelessness in the city's urban core.
Our team doesn't just work in affordable housing. We've lived it — as clients, as coordinators, as executives, and as community builders. That experience is the foundation everything else is built on.
